He's been a mystery to me as he flies by every once in awhile. All I see is a black and white bird. Finally, I figured it out when he landed in sight. Mystery solved, that's a Red-Headed Wood Pecker.

You can really see his black crown good in these photos. Glad I was able to see this night heron again, he seems so relaxed this time.

BABY TURKEYS

I saw theses little poults in the bean field the other day..Just thought they were turkeys. Now that I see them with their parents, I know now they are babies. And they are called poults. I call them cute baby turkeys.

Not really sure what kind of bird this is. I'm guessing red eyed something..I was just informed that he is a Black-Crowned Night-Heron.
